A study by University of New Mexico Cancer Center researchers shows oncologists didn’t routinely give elderly leukemia patients a drug that increases their chances of survival nearly sixfold. Even though it has minor side effects. And even though seniors with chronic myeloid leukemia are the best candidates for successful treatment with the drug. Link
