CancerConnect live Web Chat with an Expert series presents:  “Making Informed Decisions about Breast Reconstruction.”  On July 16, 2014 at 6:30pm EST you will have the opportunity to engage with a breast cancer expert who will discuss and answer participants’ questions about reconstruction after breast cancer surgery during a live Web chat.

Choosing to have breast reconstruction after surgical treatment for breast cancer may help to improve concerns about body image and quality of life as well as mitigate the psychological, social, sexual, and physical impact of treatment. In this program, the expert will provide an overview of breast reconstruction options, the factors involved in determining the ideal surgical approach and treatment strategy, and how patient satisfaction and outcomes are being improved.
