El Oso de Salud Society
Annual Giving

El Oso de Salud Society
El Oso de Salud - the healing bear - is the symbol of the University of New Mexico Cancer Center. The bear represents power and protection and illustrates our desire to both cure and heal the whole person. The UNM Cancer Center encourages private donations so that we can partner with community members to achieve the highest standards of excellence in our efforts to treat and cure cancer. Gifts to El Oso de Salud Society provide our researchers, physicians and staff with much needed resources, allowing them to continue in their efforts to seek cures and save lives, one patient at a time.

Membership
El Oso de Salud Society gives individuals, corporations and foundations an opportunity to make philanthropic contributions that support cancer prevention, research and access to the best patient treatments. Gifts to El Oso de Salud Society may be used to underwrite innovative research that will translate into improved patient care, purchase new clinical and scientific equipment, and support patient assistance programs.
