First Stereotactic Radiosurgery Patient talks about her experience

Phoebe T. Ward Jr. received a lung cancer diagnosis only six months ago. That cancer spread to her brain and she was the first patient to undergo stereotactic radiosurgery at the UNM Cancer Center. Her outlook remains upbeat, though, as she continues to battle cancer.

Ms. Ward and Donna Siergiej, PhD, who is a member of her medical team, recently talked to 2-KASA "This Morning" about SRS. Read the SRS press release and the article about Ms. Ward's experience.
