Our Mission

To ensure that all New Mexicans have access to world-class cancer care and benefit from advances in cancer research, the University of New Mexico Cancer Center provides state-of-the-art cancer diagnosis and treatment, conducts outstanding research to discover the causes and the cures for cancer, educates the next generation of cancer healthcare professionals and is focused on overcoming the significant cancer health disparities in the Southwest through the development of a statewide cancer treatment network and community-based outreach programs.
