Our laboratory is interested in advancing the genetic basis of cancer. Prospective trainees with research interest in cancer genetics, cancer genomics, functional genomics, bioinformatics, and molecular cancer therapeutics should contact the laboratory to explore short-term or long-term research opportunities in these areas. Trainees will have the opportunity to work and learn in a transdisciplinary research environment that integrates cancer genomics, functional genomics, bioinformatics, and molecular biology.
Our laboratory is engaged in research activities to advance the standard of care for patients with ovarian cancer. Major areas of research include Cancer Genomics, Functional Genomics, Bioinformatics, and Molecular Cancer Therapeutics. Our transdisciplinary research program is highly innovative and collaborative with other scientists at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center and around the United States.
