The UNM Cancer Center includes a number of state-of-the-art shared facilities that support our scientists and their research goals, and stimulate interactions among the Cancer Center’s research programs. Shared resources exist to promote the research efforts of member laboratories and to speed the adoption of innovative methods and technologies that advance cancer research at UNM.

Animal Models & Imaging Shared Resource

Provides support for design, planning, and execution of in vivo assays through xenograft and genetically modified cancer models.  The Keck-UNM Small-Animal Imaging Resource (KUSAIR) specializes in quanitative, in vivo molecular imaging using radiolabeled biomarkers and probes.
