There are a disproportionate number of Latinas who experience the more severe cases of breast cancer, according to a news release from The University of New Mexico’s Cancer Center. The center recently was awarded funding from the National Institutes of Health Centers for Population Health and Health Disparities program to study why this is and perhaps determine successful prevention and treatment methods.    Link
