Cancer Fighter Sandy Gold on Why She Rides

Sandy Gold has beaten cancer twice. She faced melanoma in 1978 and beat breast cancer in 2005. A strong and spirited advocate for cancer survivors, Ms. Gold is an avid cyclist. She competed in the 2003 Senior Olympics and again in the 2005 Senior Olympics shortly held shortly after her treatment. Now a septuagenarian, she looks forward to riding the 50-mile route in the Lobo Cancer Challenge. "I think we all just have to live life to the fullest,” she says, “and not accept limitations."

Sandy talked with Mike Jaxson, KSVP-AM, about why she's riding in the inaugural Lobo Cancer Challenge:
