UNMCC is currently recruiting for Charge Nurse/Critical Care who will schedule, lead and oversee the daily activities of Surgical Suite nurses and support staff, ensuring adherence to appropriate Federal, State, and local regulations and guidelines, University policies, and accepted surgical nursing protocols and procedures. The Surgical Suite Charge Nurse will also coordinate services with other patient care units and will coordinate and assist the surgical physicians with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments (MOHS, ECT, IR) for surgical patients ensuring adherence to hospital or department and University policies, and nursing procedures, standards, and practices.
